Plaza de Mayo | Argentina

The Plaza de Mayo is the pulse of the current political climate in Argentina. In this arena, political acts that have left an indelible footprint on our history and will likely continue to do so. Our dilemma became why should there be such a discord between the physical space and civilian expression. After each demonstration, the plaza is in need of major repairs. That is why, as we approach the 1810/ 2010 bicentennial, we believe that it is important to turn the page, and begin to reconsider a new plaza. A spacious, open air with clean lines, sealing in the footprints marked daily upon the land, A simple place to witness history as it takes place, from past to present and with an eye towards the future.
